Grant Pavol

Following a three-year hiatus from releasing music, singer-songwriter Grant Pavol returns January 15th with the College Ep, the first release of a cycle of four stylistically distinct EPs to be released throughout 2025. Since emerging from the Philadelphia underground in his teens, Pavol released several albums and EPs on Accidental Popstar Records, run by close collaborator Shamir, for whom he serves as touring bassist and occasional co-writer. Initial releases Okay and About a Year saw Pavol developing a unique style of hypnogogic pop, putting folk music and spacey electronic elements into a hazy blender. Following the release of Reflections in 2021, Pavol found himself in a moment of transition, both personally and professionally, graduating from college, and relocating to New York City. The resulting changes in his day-to-day life drove Pavol to develop new musical approaches that fit the rhythm of adult responsibility. College marks the first statement of Pavol’s new style.
